Southern Resident Killer Whales are designated as endangered under the Species at Risk Act. Sooke Coastal Explorations supports measures to protect SRKW and the recovery of SRKW. Sooke Coastal Explorations does not actively seek to encounter SRKW on whale watching tours because they are endangered. Please note that any photos and images of Southern Resident Killer Whales featured on Facebook and Instagram are historical and taken prior to 2019.
